- Pinch and roll the skin (myofascial release technique) all over your body and find any places where the skin is thick, hard, and attached to the tissue underneath it. Are their places where it does not roll freely?
- Now, feel your upper Trapezius and Sternocleidomastoid muscles (upper back and neck muscles). Are they supple or hard down deep?
- Now feel your Quadriceps and IT bands. Are they soft and supple?
- Can you feel your femur? Or does it feel like it is three or four inches thick?
- Press hard and deep on the Sartorius and Vastus Medialis right above the knee (on the inside) about 10 times—is it painful?
- If the skin is thick and attached to the tissue underneath and/or your muscles are hard and/or painful: you have AGE related Inflammatory Fibrosis.
